Gospel Conversation Basics

A 4-part mini-course covering listening well, sharing clearly, and following up faithfully.

← Back to Resources

Part 1: Listening Before Speaking

Why most gospel conversations should start with questions, not statements. Covers active listening, asking good follow-up questions, and reading when someone is actually open versus just being polite.

Part 2: The Gospel in Plain Language

A simple, memorable way to explain the gospel without jargon: covering who God is, what sin actually means, what Jesus did, and what a response looks like, in language a skeptic could follow.

Part 3: Handling Pushback Without Losing the Relationship

How to disagree without becoming combative, when to keep talking and when to let it go, and how to stay in relationship with someone even after a hard conversation.

Part 4: Following Up Faithfully

What to do after the first conversation: how to check back in without being pushy, how to keep praying for someone consistently, and how to recognize when someone's ready for a next step.

Each part will be delivered as a short 8–12 minute video plus a one-page takeaway sheet.
